The Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring the 11th Annual Riata Roundup Rodeo.  The annual event will be held on June 7th, 8th and 9th 2012. The Riata Roundup Rodeo will be held at Bar 3 Arena at Lometa Regional Park.

Thursday night, June 7th 2012, kicks off the Lampasas County Jackpot Team Roping. Books open at 6:30pm and Roping begins at 7:30pm. Top 10 teams will advance to rope in the Saturday Riata Roundup Rodeo performance to compete for prizes.

Friday night, June 8th 2012 the rodeo kicks off at 7:30 pm with the introduction of the Riata Roundup Rodeo Queen contestants.  Admission is $10.00 adults, kids 12 and under free and Military $6.00 with military id. 

Saturday night, June 9th 2012 starts at 6:00 pm with an exciting array of children's activites to be held at the arena.  The queen will be crowned before the rodeo begins at 8:00 pm.  After the rodeo, there will be dancing with live music provided by the Nick Lawerence Band which is FREE with the purchase of Saturday's admission ticket .  Reserve tables for the dance are available a table for 10 is $200.00.  The admission is $10.00 adults, kids 12 and under $5.00.

The rodeo is a UPRA sanctioned event.
